Visitation
Please view our updated Covid-19 Visitation Guidelines and Policy
Your visitors are welcome guests in our hospital. As part of your overall therapy the doctor may suggest certain guidelines that are more restrictive than the ones listed below.
Please ask your visitors to observe the following requests:
- Visitors may be asked to leave the room when treatment is to be given, or when examinations are being conducted.
- Visitors and patients are requested to speak quietly and to be considerate of other patients.
- Picture taking is not allowed within the hospital.
The number of visitors allowed per patient room is determined by the patient/support person preference, by the patient’s condition, by physician order, by room type and size, and by other situations identified by clinical staff. Persons with Respiratory disease or any sign of communicable infection may be restricted from visiting the facility patients.
The hospital will allow an individual to be present with the patient for emotional support during the course of the patient’s stay except when the hospital professionals deem restrictions to be necessary in their “best clinical judgment.”
ICU/CCU
Providing excellent and safe Intensive/Critical Care is of utmost importance to us. Due to the complexity of our patients conditions, visiting for one or several patients may be limited at times at the discretion of the health care team.
The ICU will have visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a limit of 2 visitors per patient for a total of fifteen minutes. During these times the care team will be conducting clinical assessments on patients, conducting hand-off information on each patient, and introducing the on-coming shift to the patient. After 6 p.m. visitation will be limited to allow the patients to rest from daily activities and procedures.
